How often should my car or van be serviced?
With most modern cars and vans a service is only needed once a year, this is of course dependent on the number of miles you drive. Higher mileage usually means more frequent servicing. Older cars and vans may require a service every six months. The manufacturers’ service hand book for your vehicle will give details of their recommended service schedules. If you’re not sure, please don’t worry. We have access to manufacturer recommended servicing schedules and can recommend to you what level of service should be carried out to help ensure your car or van remains reliable.
Is your service as good as that provided by the main dealer?
During your vehicles service we run through the same recommended checklist as the mechanics at a franchised main dealer. This ensures we carry out the same level of service as you would receive at the main dealer at a much reduced price. By carrying out servicing on your car or van to the level recommended by the manufacturer it allows us to identify potential problems and forewarn you of any likely maintenance expense. Breakdowns or major problems normally arise because early warning signs were not detected or ignored.
All parts used during our servicing of your car or van are either original manufacturer parts or of equivalent quality from reputable suppliers.
Do I need to have my car or van serviced by a main dealer because of my vehicle warranty?
No you don’t have to have your car or van serviced by a main dealer to maintain your warranty. The law allows you to choose where your vehicle is serviced and as long as the service is carried out to the same specifications and recommendations of the manufacturer your warranty will still be valid.
